Invoice Koi is an invoice app for hairdressers, for the part of the week that does not pay at the chair: a bridal morning, a shoot, a stockist who needs a document.

Most of the week takes payment at the chair and needs no paperwork at all. The rest of it does: a bridal morning with five people in it, the salon you rent a chair from, a shoot that pays on invoice thirty days later, and a stockist who wants a document before they can pay for the products.

Cut, colour, bridal per head and the trial each sit in the price book at your price. Building a bridal invoice is picking who was in the room.
Chair rent, invoiced every week without asking
A recurring invoice on a weekly cadence drafts itself, whether you are the stylist paying it or the salon collecting it. It goes out when you send it, not before.
Colour stock as a real cost
Photograph the wholesaler receipt and it is read into an expense with its tax. The reports then put stock against takings rather than leaving it as a feeling about the month.

Can I take card payments through it?
Yes. After Stripe setup, Koi can collect card payments online through a payment link. Koi charges 0.35% with a subscription, or 0.7% + £0.10 without one, plus Stripe processing fees. A payment made through a Koi payment link marks the invoice paid on its own. Cash, bank transfers and anything paid elsewhere, you record yourself. Recording one yourself carries no Koi fee.
How do I invoice a bridal party of five?
One document with a line per person, or one line with five as the quantity. Grouped under a heading, the morning reads as one job with a subtotal on it.
Can I invoice the salon for chair rent?
Yes, and the other way about. A recurring invoice on a weekly or monthly cadence covers either arrangement.
