Invoice Koi

Invoicing for mobile mechanics

The customer is standing next to you and the job is finished. That is the moment the invoice should exist. Not that evening, from a photograph of a parts receipt and a memory of how long the alternator took.

What mobile mechanics
put on an invoice.

These go in your price book once, with your own prices against them. After that a line is one tap: the item, the description, the unit and the price fill themselves, and the totals resolve underneath.

02Why mobile mechanics use it

Three things that
save the evening.

The factor receipt, read and filed

Photograph it at the counter. Merchant, amount, tax and category come off the paper, and the picture stays with the job.

Invoiced at the roadside

A PDF out through email or any messaging app while the customer is still standing there, with your logo and your terms on it.

Hours on the job, on the invoice

Track time against the customer and turn it into a line, so the three hours the alternator took is the three hours you bill.

03 · Questions

Asked by mobile mechanics.

Can I invoice at the roadside?

Yes, and with no signal. Everything is on the phone, and the PDF goes out through your own mail or messaging app when you have a bar again.

How do I bill parts at cost?

Keep a "Parts" line priced at zero and set the figure per job, or scan the factor receipt and put the real number on it.

Can the customer pay by card in the app?

No. Invoice Koi does not take payments. You record what the customer paid and how, and the balance, the status and every report follow from that.
